Kristian Møller Eriksen, known in the musical landscape as Fortuneteller or Fortuneteller.dk, was born in 1972 in the western Jutland town of Holstebro. Early in life, Kristian was influenced by music, thanks to a musical mother. It was during his teenage years that he wrote his first songs, and in 1986, his music career took a new turn when the family's electric organ was replaced by an advanced Casio keyboard. Soon, an acoustic guitar also became part of Kristian's musical arsenal. The journey had begun.

Today, Fortuneteller.dk is an artist who embraces a wide range of music genres, including rock, pop, and still electronic pop. The guitar and synthesizer remain his favorite instruments, but collaboration with artificial intelligence also plays an increasingly significant role in his creative process.

The name Fortuneteller, later Fortuneteller.dk, is a tribute to the famous, or infamous, wise woman Kirsten Ravnsborg, also known as Kjæn Krathus. Kirsten lived in the Tvis-Holstebro area in the 19th century and was convicted of helping young women with abortions, which led to a lengthy prison sentence in the women's prison in Christianshavn. But she was also known for her metaphysical abilities to predict the future.

Kirsten Ravnsborg was Fortuneteller.dk's great-great-grandmother, and her legacy lives on in Kristian's musical journey and innovative artistic approach. Fortuneteller.dk is more than just a name; it is a connection to the past, a bridge to the future, and a symbol of an eternal quest for new musical horizons.

In 2025, Fortuneteller.dk initiated a collaboration with Astrid Ingvarsson, who sings on a number of songs and provides endless inspiration.
